Auto-Organize Your Collection into Care Groups
If you’ve already been tracking feeding in Scutely, you don’t have to build every group and schedule by hand. Two tools help you get set up fast.
Auto-organize
Auto-organize looks at how you already feed your animals and suggests groups for animals that share a feeding schedule.
- From Care Groups, tap Auto-organize.
- Scutely proposes groups based on shared feeding schedules.
- Review and adjust the suggestions — rename, merge, or drop any group.
- Confirm, and the groups are created.
Nothing is created until you confirm, so it’s safe to explore what it suggests.
Moving an older schedule over
If you used the older per-animal feeding schedule, a one-time prompt helps you carry it into the new scheduling system. You choose how:
- Smart-group — bundle animals that share a schedule into groups, so they’re scheduled together.
- Individual — create a separate schedule for each animal, keeping them exactly as they were.
- Skip — leave it for now and set schedules up yourself later.
You get a chance to review and edit before anything is saved, and you can always adjust groups and schedules afterwards.
